As Artist in Residence at California State University, Long Beach at the University Art Gallery I led a monthly free farmers market Farm to Student (FTS). On the second Monday of each month FTS provided no-charge farmers market fruits and vegetables to CSLBU students – many of whom are not food safe and do not have ready access to fresh produce. 

In addition to the market, each month I provided 60 editions of an edible, research-based art work that used the CSULB campus, it’s wildlife, and edible landscape as inspiration. Projects included collaborations with indigenous chefs of the Chia Café Collective, edible landscape shortbreads, transspecies power bars,  Pacific Flyway granola, open source citrus mapmaking, and warbler ice cream.
